All of our gates are heavy duty at 70mm thick whereas some competitors only supply 50mm thick gates. A 70mm thick gate is much stronger and more resistant to warping than a 50mm gate. THE 15MM BOARDS ARE RECESSED INTO THE FRAMEWORK FOR A SECURE AND STURDY FINISH. PEGGED MORTICE AND TENON JOINTS. THE JOINTS ARE TRADITIONALLY MADE HAND PEGGED MORTICE AND TENON JOINTS, NO SCREWS OR NAILS IN THE JOIN. THE TONGUE AND GROOVE BOARDS ARE STAPLED ONTO THE FRAMEWORK, THIS ENSURES THEY ARE EXCEPTIONALLY STRONG. AFTER THIS THE HOLES ARE FILLED WITH WOODFILLER FOR AN ALMOST INVISIBLE FINISH.
