Taking in as px from a fitting job, A nice pair of swan neck drive way gates, strong mortice and tenon joints, quality made. No rot on structure. Not so good points, 2 spindles missing, 1 spindle is soft, 2 of the horizontal slats at the very bottom have rotted (but only cosmetic as the bar behind is solid, and also it’s not very much) 3 of the horizontal slats needs nailing back in on the bottoms only (due to moving them around) over all a nice set of gates ready to do a job, strong joints and a solid frame, type of wood I think is possibly a Douglas fur or pitch pine as they are very heavy. Wide each gate 74 3/4” (total together 149.5” 12.5ft). Highest point 78′. Lowest point 66.5′. Thickness 2 3/4′.
