This is extremely versatile, workable and takes treatment well, making it ideal for outdoor constructions and gardens. THE 15MM BOARDS ARE RECESSED INTO THE FRAMEWORK FOR A SECURE AND STURDY FINISH. PEGGED MORTICE AND TENON JOINTS. THE JOINTS ARE TRADITIONALLY MADE HAND PEGGED MORTICE AND TENON JOINTS, NO SCREWS OR NAILS IN THE JOIN. THE TONGUE AND GROOVE BOARDS ARE STAPLED ONTO THE FRAMEWORK, THIS ENSURES THEY ARE EXCEPTIONALLY STRONG. AFTER THIS THE HOLES ARE FILLED WITH WOODFILLER FOR AN ALMOST INVISIBLE FINISH. A PAIR OF QUALITY HANDMADE DRIVE WAY / GARDEN GATES (2 X GATES). Brand new and unused, however, some of wood may have some very slight markings/imperfections. These are genuinely minimal, do not affect the gate movements. This can be a small mark of ink/stamp on the wood which usually doesn’t even notice or could be easily rubbed out. All our wood is pressure treated and planed so will last for years, so no need to rush and paint or stain. The gates are a 3″x 2″ frame and 16mm tongue and groove. Fully mortice and tennon framed gate. 16mm tongue and groove matchboard is rebated into the frame to sit flush. The timber curves are cut from one section of timber and we do not use laminates. The timber is hand selected Joinery grade Scandinavian redwood. The gates come in a planed finish at a 60mm finished thickness. T analith E base treatment. Further treatment is required to ensure to maximise the longevity of the timber. Our gates are manufactured to your order by hand in our own workshop by fully qualified skilled joiners.
