Part of our signature Entrance gate range. This listing is based on 1.2m high x 1.5m wide each gate or 4ft x 5ft in imperial. Based on a typical 3.00m / 10ft Driveway. Fully mortice and tennon framed gate. 16mm tongue and groove matchboard is rebated into the frame to sit flush. The timber curves are cut from one section of timber and we do not use laminates. The timber is hand selected Joinery grade Scandinavian redwood. The gates come in a planed finish at a 60mm finished thickness. Tanalith E base treatment. Further treatment is required to ensure to maximise the longevity of the timber. Our gates are manufactured to your order by hand in our own workshop by fully qualified skilled joiners. Many with vast knowledge and experienced within this field from manufacturing to installation. HANDMADE TIMBER DRIVEWAY GATES. 3/4 gate + 1/4 gate. Constructed from heavy duty 4×2 timber or 4×2 timber depending on the sizes. We are a small family run business and all our items are handmade by quality craftsmen to a very high standard. These gates are made from PEFC renewable, sustainable, selected Scandinavian redwood, morticed and tennoned joints with 19mm tongue & groove match boarding. All our gates are supplied planed all round and ready for your choice of stain, varnish or paint. We highly recommend using a good quality protection on the gates, such as Sadolins “oil based” but NOT any “water based” products! Please let us know which side you intend to hang the 1/4 gate when ordering, so that we can position the diagonal bracing accordingly! Please view our other items for different style gates!
