Fully framed, Glued using premium exterior waterproof wood glue and dowel’d to ensure a solid robust structure. The frame is constructed from kiln-dried “4 x 2″. California redwood planed all round timber with a beautifully smooth finish. The frame is constructed to a high standard using the traditional mortice and tenon method & for extra strength we use dowels to ensue these gates last a lifetime! The infill closed boards are rebated into the frame to ensure a flush smooth finish & are constructed from 22mm California redwood kiln-dried planed T&G V Groove timber which provides a luxury chamfered edge when jointed together. These gates are not treated, although California redwood timber is extremely durable untreated we do offer a full pressure treatment service as an additional extra – If you would like these gates pressure treated please select the option from the drop down menu above and add it to your order.
