All domestic drive gates are made from top quality kiln dried Scandinavian Redwood. Finished planed, sanded and decoratively stop chamfered on edges. All brace bars are glued, screwed and plugged so no nasty nuts and bolt end sticking out (child and pet friendly). These gates are untreated, but can be fully submerged in solvent based brown Wood Stain and Preserver to give a long lasting protection.
